As a community of beach lovers, each and every one of us can pick up litter as we are out there. Each and every piece of litter picked up greatly helps minimize this enivronmental problem and eye sore. Take a stand - this community resource can be protected and served by the WHOLE community. If you also want to participate in our quarterly clean ups Contact us Here's a partial list of the kinds of garbage found along our beach, where you'll find them and generally what time of year they are more common. 5 gallon containers of unknown chemicals. These are found year round, some dumped some come in with the tide.

Plastic Strapping These balls of strapping can be 4 feet wide and 4 feet tall or found as individual strips. Found most commonly in the winter months along the high tide mark.	Light bulbs These light bulbs are found in all different shapes and sizes. Generally seen around the high tide mark in the winter months.
Plastic Bags These large heavy mil plastic bags stop food from reaching the razor clams below. They are found generally in the wet sand half buried. Winter months are the worst.	All kinds of things Tires, refridgerators, wiring, you name it. These are all dumped or brought in by our common heavy winter surf. Found at the base of the dunes or at the high tide mark.
Plastic Although all kinds of plastic containers are found in abundance during the winter months they are found year round all over the beach.	Furniture People bring their old furniture and appliances and dump them near or in the dunes year round.
Unfortunately we have many more types of garbage commonly found on our beach; needles, bottles, cans, an abundance of water bottles, fireworks, and so on.
