Jan 19th 2002. It stormed all night the night before - but the beach seemed to know we were coming and although the wind was strong - we were spared the rain! |
Jan. 2002. The gang that collected 840 lbs of garbage in just 2 hours: Ellen, Randy, Sharon, Judy, Hal, John, Kody, Clegg,Kerry, Lynette, Glenna, Shelly and Steve.
A special thank you to Pacific Solid Waste Disposal, Inc for letting us dump this garbage for free!

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped the Beach Cleanup efforts April 6th: Sandy Tellvik, Ellen Anderson, Pat & Jerry Instenes, Donna & Irv Smith, John & Rita Sporseen, Diane Abild, Connie West, Pilgrim Pat, Steve & Michelle Charlten, John & Janet Charlten, Roy & Beverly Wakeman, Craig & Marsha Sparks, Hal & Judy Roth, Glenna Duke, Heather Smith, Greg Merrithew, Linda Bierma, Judy Graf, Pat McKilheir, Gordon & Susan Clark, Lynette Dowty, Mike & Konie Devery, to the mother with her kids who just dove in and to anyone else who took a moment in their day to help clean our beach.
We had 30 some volunteers who picked up 1880 pounds of trash in just a couple of hours from south of Klipsan to north of the Oysterville approach.
